Federal minimum wage
Bill H.R. 582 raises the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $15.00 per hour over a six-year period. The U.S. House of Representatives passed this bill and sent it over to the U.S. Senate on July 18,2019. As expected, Aderholt voted against the working people of the 4th Congressional District by voting “NO” for its passage.
President Kennedy said in his inaugural address “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country”.
This message inspired and challenged us to contribute to the public good. We can do our public good in November by sending Aderholt to another house.
